On leaving Stornoway proceed along the A857 following signs for Barvas and passing the hospital on the right hand side. On entering Barvas pass the filling station and turn left onto the A858 following signs Shawbost proceed through Arnol and Bragar and into Shawbost. Travelling through Shawbost passing the turn off for Fevig and the Shawbost Mill and then the Church. At the top of the hill turn left into New Shawbost, the croft is on the righthand side across from house number 7.
